Technical Support / Redbana account -> Steam, what happens?

I was told that to play Audition again, I have to use Steam and delete the X-TRAP folder and download something else.
What happens to the account I currently have? Is there an account transfer system, or no?

I redownloaded Audition after getting a new computer, and this happens.

I read that the game doesn't use X-TRAP anymore, so why does this happen anyways.
