Technical Support / Space lags

Hello does anyone know how to fix space lags?
I know i have an old laptop, but it runs perfectly untill i press space.
Anyone ideas?
I used to use a RAMdisk to fix it, but somehow it is impossible with steam..
(Windows 8.1, 64 bit. Intel Core i7 8gb RAM GeForce GT 735M)
