Sound Card

To easily see if there are any sound card drivers that need updating, simply do the following:

Click on Start and then Run.

Type the following command in the Open: text box, and then hit the Enter key or click on the OK button.

devmgmt.msc

Device Manager should display right away.

Then go to "Sound, video, and game controllers" or something along that line.

Right click each device that pops up and click "update drivers" or "properties" > "update driver".



Then, if it gives you the option, click on search automatically for new drivers. If it finds a new one, it'll automatically update it.
