Moving Animation
I will be demonstrating how to do a moving animation.
*THIS WILL BE DEMONSTRATED ON PHOTOSHOP CS5.
Sample:

Step 1: Make sure you have finished your avatar &
put on the text that you wish to animate.
Step 2: Open the Animation Bar. You should see
a frame already made. If yours says 0 sec, change it to 1 sec. [x]
Step 3: Make a new frame on the AB. Select your layer
of text & select mouse tool. You should see a gray box around
your text. Move your text across one space (← on the keyboard).
Keep repeating this until you want your text to stop moving. [x]
Step 4: This is what my AB looks like after moving
the text a few times. [x]
Step 5: We're finished with the first part (moving forward).
Now we're going to move backwards! Create a new frame and
move your text back one pixel. Keep repeating this (new frame,
→ on the keyboard) until your text is at its original spot it was on. [x]
Step 6: This is what my AB looks like now. Your 1st and last
frame should be the same. Delete your last frame so that now, your
1st and last frame are different (your text is at different spots on ava). [x]
Step 7: Play the animation and see if it looks right
compared to the sample. You can also alternate the speed
of the frames if it looks too fast, or tween ( ) the frames so it'll look smoother.
Step 8: Save the file as a GIF and you're done!
Final Outcome:
