Not sure how US highschools work but if you had choir classes, then you also had concert band, right? What was your instrument (usually no guitar in schools)? I imagine you with trumpet, percussion or violin for some reasons. I had clarinet because there were too many people in strings ;lush /cannot imitate Apocalyptica. But if you had no concert band classes, then what instrument would you want to learn? ;P
