    (continued from last post)

Honestly, I don't want anyone to agree with me if I have to force them to. However, in the same way I respect the people that hold opinions opposing mine, I also expect the same in return. I know I hold a very unpopular belief, and that I have expressed that to the community on a number of occasions. Don't demonize me for it, though. If you disagree, don't flame or attack me because of it. Debate is fine and healthy. I don't mind it at all, but when emotion gets tangled up in it, it ends up accomplishing nothing but hurt and hatred.

I am looking for the truth here, and wish to spread it. The problem is, it's hard to find. A lot of people will say they have it, and it's hard to be sure which is the real truth.
Truth doesn't contradict itself. There's only one version of it in the world. Which is it? Why is it? That's what I want to know. That's what I seek, and that's what I wish to spread to others.

<_< Not everyone agrees with your opinion, either. Tying into Ria's question... yes, it is mostly for religious (but not totally) reasons that I believe this. Does that automatically make my opinion invalid? I should say not.

Some people are fond of saying, "Don't impose your religious beliefs on me... I can believe what I want and everyone else can, too." I don't think I've done anything like that. Imposing my beliefs on someone would be forcing them to believe what I do. Am I forcing anyone to agree with me? No, I am not. I'm not flaming those who don't like what I have to say. I'm not attacking them. I might make people uncomfortable with my words, but under no circumstances are they being coerced into agreeing with my beliefs.

Uhm, people don't just wake up and say "I'm going to be homosexual today!" Don't ****ing put down what other people do just because of YOUR opinion. People can do what they want, I don't know who you think you are to say that it's wrong.

I visited the link on your "about me", but I'm just interested in why you hold this view. Is it because of your religion? something else.....?

cow - Not exactly. Race is determined by genes -- homosexuality is not. And I was fully aware of what I was doing.

Embry - Honestly, I've always... believed this, but I hadn't expressed it until now. For you and for anybody else reading my profile, I want to say that I do not hate homosexuals. Honestly, I don't. I know it's a hard-hitting thing to say and believe, when it concerns something so close to so many people, but I'm not doing justice to the cause if I don't express it. Again, I try to respect everyone who goes here and in-game. Some might think that it's bogus to say that and yet still hold this position, but well... that's just how it is.

When did you become so opposed to homosexuality?

I don't really care about your siggy, since no one's going to listen; I just think you should delete it. YOU might feel strongly about that, but there are a hot of homosexuals on here, and that might cause problems. That's like saying "I'm against black people" and putting it in your siggy.
