Dear Redbana community,
Today at around 3:45 PM PST, the forums became inaccessible because of a minor hacking attack. The issue was immediately found and measures were immediately taken to resolve the problem. As you can see, the forums are now back up to a normal state.
We apologize, but we have inevitably lost about 1 day's worth of forum data. This includes threads, posts, PMs, etc. Also, there might be some minor issues affecting the forums that we do not know about. These may be, for example, avatar uploading failure, or profile editing failure. If you happen to find any such issue that never happened before today, please send me a quick PM with details and I will look into it.
Again, we apologize and we thank you for bearing this situation with us. We assure you that we will take necessary measures to protect the forums from future attacks.
