as a beta test candidate, this program did not work and the RC (release candidate), audition still did not work. Is there a patch to fix this or something, because windows 7 is uses the same engine as vista and windows 7 is backwards compatible with windows vista programs. Is it just me and my computer or is this for all windows 7 users? If it's just 7 then i'll go back to my laggy vista again.....

x-trap is not compatible with Windows 7.

But they're not the same thing. Windows 7 is supported by X-TRAP, but the version that Redbana Audition currently uses does not support Windows 7, so you will either need to use a different operating system or wait for an update to X-TRAP that allows Windows 7 compatibility.

It's not Audition, its X-Trap. the current version of X-Trap Redbana is using does not support windows 7. there is a version supporting it, but we will just have to wait for an update. GameGuard, which was on Maplestory until they switched to HackShield. was also not compatible with windows 7. we just gotta wait.

EDIT: yea just saw what the Moderator said, and i kinda copied it, but oh well :D

no update? I'm sure a lot of windows 7 users would love to play this game. Yes it's in beta but all the other games i've been playing are windows 7 compatible. Make it happen!

They don't really have that power, it's more or less on the shoulders of T3 korea since they do a majority of the actual coding. Since windows 7 isn't even out on public release, chances are this isn't going to happen for a few years, thank god i stuck with xp, lol.

so in other words, go back to xp, the only good OS.

If I was running a gaming business, I would want to make sure my game can reach to as many players as possible.

Windows 7 will be released...Microsoft is practically handing it out for free.

Sorry but i'm not willing to downgrade my OS in order to play audition.

Dual-boot your harddrive to run Windows 7 AND XP/Vista (whichever you want) or just downgrade and stop whining.

7 is still in Beta and until a while after its official release, it's still not gonna be widely supported. You took the Beta OS, you took the consequences, live with them.

You brought back a really old thread. Windows 7 is already supported. I'm on the RTM Windows 7 Professional x64 edition right now and Audition works fine.
